How much does a Bill of Quantities cost?+
It's quoted per project, because scope and building size vary enormously — a three-bedroom bungalow and a block of flats aren't the same job. Send your drawings and we'll come back with a fixed fee. You pay nothing until you accept the quote.
How is this different from a contractor's quote?+
A contractor's quote tells you what that contractor wants to charge for the scope they've assumed — which is why every contractor quotes a different scope at a different number, and none of them are comparable. A BoQ defines the scope independently and prices it at market rates, so you can compare quotes on identical terms and see immediately where someone is padding.
Do you need to visit the site?+
No. A Bill of Quantities is measured from your drawings, so we can prepare it wherever the build is. That's why it works well before construction starts, or from abroad. If you also want the site's current stage independently verified, that's what our cost reports are for.
Where do the rates come from?+
Our own market data. Our team records building-material prices across Lagos markets every week, logging the material, brand, unit, vendor, market, and date. Your BoQ is priced against those current rates, not against a dated published schedule.
Can I use the BoQ to get contractors to bid?+
Yes — that's one of the best uses for it. Hand the same BoQ to every contractor and they all price the same measured scope, which turns a set of incomparable numbers into a fair tender.
What drawing formats do you accept?+
PDF, DWG, DXF, images, and spreadsheets. If your set is large, zip it. If you can't upload the files, submit the form and send them to us on WhatsApp instead.
